Filipe McManus MAAT BSc (Hons)
Chief Executive Officer
Filipe has worked in Business Intelligence in the health sector and in the finance sector since 2001. During this time Filipe graduated with an honours degree in Health & Social Care Informatics from Derby University. During his career that took him from Finance & IT Asst at Ipswich Hospital to Data Quality Manager at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge he had a strong desire to go into business. He since went into consultancy which led to rapid growth of his knowledge and skills being exposed to many systems and challenges.
At several NHS organisations he had to build minor reference databases and realised that this needed to be done properly and for the whole NHS. This led to the beginning of UKHD development in 2008 which was finally ready for release, after 3 years development in 2012.
Filipe still does a consultancy work for the NHS which really helps to understand the UK Health Dimensions database from a user’s perspective feeding development ideas.
